Cole took to Twitter to speak on all the classic music he has stored up and even announced that a possible new mixtape will be coming, if that wasn’t enough he told his fans to hold up before leaving to party this long weekend for a new track he’s releasing. Well here it is “Villematic” which Cole takes his turn at Kanye & Bink’s “Devil In A New Dress”.

MATTY TRUMP! When I interviewed the little homie Cam Meekins a few weeks back he was telling me how much he would like to work with Chris Webby. Well they ended up hitting the studio in Boston about a week ago and "Fast Lane" is what came from the session. With production from Matty Trump, a hook from Meekins himself, and a verse and a half via Webby... needless to say it's a hit.

Scott hit up Vita Nightclub and The Velvet Room this past weekend for Black Gay Pride Week in Atlanta.  Earlier in the week, Kim went on a radio show and said that she would not be a part of the festivities this year because a booking agent conned promoters out of $15,000. However, they must have sorted everything out because she definitely showed up over the weekend. I just wanted to take this time to say “thanks for all of the birthday wishes!”. (September 2nd Baby!!!!!) This year is monumental, however I didn’t throw a party or anything super huge. I went to the WEEN Awards featuring the likes of Gayle King, Nia Long, LeToya Luckett, Angie Martinez, & HIV/Aids Activist Hydeia Broadbent and it was simply amazing. Life Changing actually! (post coming soon!!) Thank you Valeisha Butterfield for allowing me to be among so many powerful women.

In the meantime I just want to say, I appreciate all the support and love over the years. It really means a lot to me. As a lot of you know, by the time I had started my site, I lost both of my parents, I didn’t have a job. I had no money. I felt like I had nothing. I ended up isolating myself from family and friends while trying to re-invent and find out who I was as a person. The site was my therapy. Back then, I wasn’t just talking about celebrities, I was actually publishing stories that pertained to my own life and what I was going through…and just being able to have an outlet to express myself and hear feedback from others really helped me go through that rough period. I never expected it to get this big, and for that reason alone I know I am truly blessed and I “Thank God” every day.

Growing up, I couldn’t exactly pinpoint what it was that I wanted to do in life but I knew that I wanted to have a voice and I wanted to touch people. The problem with that was I was extremely shy, I hated public speaking and “who would want to listen to little ole me anyway?”. Thanks to Munson Steed for allowing me to get over that fear of public speaking by bringing me on the Female Success Tour in 2008, just a few months after I started the site. [Watch Video here] I was a hot emotional mess, but I got over it and I came off of that tour feeling fulfilled..as if I had finally found my purpose.

I say all of this to say, this internet thing is crazy but it has given me that voice and now I have to figure out how I will use it to not only better myself, but to touch people. To inspire. To motivate.

Many doors were slammed in my face before I decided to create my own opportunity. And if I can do it, everyone who is reading this right now that is in a place where they can’t quite see the light at the end of the tunnel, can do it as well. People can take many things from you; your money, your job, but don’t ever let them steal your dream. And always remember that a dream, is just a dream without a vision. You have to take action to make your dream your reality.

Last but not least, for those who have said I’ve changed,

In order for you to grow, you must change…

Don’t ever let anyone put you in a box.

Marinate on that.
